After Lenin's death, the Bolshevik leaders struggled among themselves for power, which is similar to the conflict between the 3 leaders after the death of Alexander the Great: The split of Alexander's empire into 3 different empire; together called the Hellenistic empire. -Hriju
- The Treaty of Versailles and the unequal treaty in China had similar effects. The Treaty of Versailles, an unequal treaty biased against Germany caused the people to stop supporting the government and lose faith in them leading to the rise of Hitler and a new government. - One of the early Chinese empires, the Song Dynasty very much believed in activities such as foot binding and arranged marriages but also did not believe in divorce in fact they were very much against it. But later during the 1900's when the conflict in china happened between the nationalist and the communist,the communist decided they where completely opposite of the original decisions of the Song Dynasty. There could be divorce there was no foot binding, and there was no arranged marriages. -Aj
- Growing nationalism within India made it more difficult for Britain to maintain a hold on the sub-continent of India, so they had to hire administrative elites, educated and loyal Indian men to administer the land and make sure they were still obeying British law that had been imposed on them. The same things happened within the Incan society, they had to hire administrative elites to help them maintain control over the land they were having trouble keeping control of. -Julia
